Surprising Millions raffle extravaganza attract shoppers

Shoppers taking advantage of the bargains and special offers during Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) are increasingly finding themselves lucky winners of the ‘Surprising Millions’ campaign by Dubai Shopping Malls Group. Participants can win up to AED 50,000 in cash and prizes during weekly raffle draws or obtain instant refunds on their purchases when shopping for up to AED 200 from any of the twenty three shopping malls that are part of the campaign.
 
‘Surprising Millions’ is complemented by excellent bargains from leading retail brands and unique mall based entertainment activities to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for the whole family.
 
A recent winner of the ‘Surprising Millions’ weekly raffle draw is UAE national Shamsa Al Zarouni, who won AED 50, 000 in cash and gift vouchers after shopping for herself and her son.
 
“I was just doing regular shopping for me and my son and I thought I will try my luck at the raffle draw. I entered the name of my son, AbdulAziz Al Namar for the raffle draw and we won, this is such a wonderful surprise!” said Shamsa Al Zarouni.
 
“This year the offers are absolutely fantastic, even international brands are giving great bargains. I will use the money to do more shopping for friends and family, especially since Eid is only couple of months away,” she added.
 
Everyday the Dubai Shopping Malls Group selects instant winners from the crowd of shoppers at participating malls in Dubai.
 
One of the shoppers who was refunded the entire value of his purchase is Hassan Ahmed Sami, an Egyptian national residing in the UAE, who had bought jewellery for his fiancée.
 
“This is the best surprise I have ever had, it couldn’t have happened at a better time. I will use the money towards my wedding expenses and celebrate with my family and friends,” he said.
 
Another lucky shopper who retrieved the value of his purchases is Rabih Hassan, a resident of UAE for 35 years.
 
“I was so happy that my money was refunded, my wife and children who were with me at the time were completely stunned. We were shopping for our trip to Beirut for summer, “he said. “Since I have lived here for more than three decades, I am used to the shopping events but this year the prices are really low and there are good offers on leading brands. I will give the refund to my wife for more holiday shopping before we go on our vacation.”
 
Instant winners are selected at random after they obtain the raffle coupons from any of the 23 participating malls including Al Bustan Centre, Al Ghurair City, Al Manal Centre, Al Mulla Plaza , Arabian Center , BurJuman ,Century Mall ,Dubai Festival City, Dubai Marina Mall, Dubai Marina Walk, Dubai Outlet Mall, Gold & Diamond Park, Ibn Batutta Mall, Lamcy Plaza, Mazaya Center, Mercato Mall, Oasis Centre, Reef Mall, Souk Al Bahar and Downtown Burj, The Dubai Mall, Town Centre, Time Square Centre and WAFI Mall.
 
Shoppers using MasterCard credit cards, double their chances of winning as they receive an additional raffle coupon.
