- E-retail customers to benefit user-friendly and convenient booking process
SAS Scandinavian Airlines, the leading carrier in Northern Europe, is expecting an increase in online booking sales from its UAE-based web portal www.flysas.ae due to the increasing number of its e-retail customers.
With the thrice-weekly flights from Dubai to Copenhagen, improved schedule with departures on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays as of 30 October, e-retail customers would find the SAS Scandinavian Airlines UAE-portal a user-friendly and convenient way to book and purchase their flights, as well as access all other information about SAS products and services.
The SAS flights which would service the Dubai-Copenhagen route from 30 October will be using an Airbus A340 that offers a full intercontinental three-class service: Business, Economy Extra and Economy.
“Today’s fast-paced lifestyle is complemented by technological advancements that have resulted in an increased number of global and local internet access and usage. Such developments have opened up doors for people to book their flights, either for business or holiday trips, in the convenience of their home or workplace,” Anna Lyczak-Czepukojc, UAE General Manager, Scandinavian Airlines, said.
“Without necessarily having to go through the hassles of driving, finding parking space and waiting in queue to purchase their tickets via the traditional face-to-face transaction with a sales agent, our UAE portal www.flysas.ae offers an increasing number of internet-savvy customers a fast and convenient way of booking tickets through the portal’s user-friendly features.
“The Dubai-Copenhagen route is the key destination that was searched and ticketed via our local web portal. And we expect this to increase significantly in line with our ambitious targets for the season and calendar year,” Lyczak-Czepukojc added.
Aside from online booking and purchasing of tickets, the SAS UAE portal offers customers a subscription arrangement in order to keep them informed on a monthly basis, as well as practical information for a modern traveler covering: flight status, timetable, city guides, promotions, EuroBonus, SAS'' frequent travel program. In addition, www.flysas.ae offers online check-in, including the printing of the passengers’ boarding pass from their home or office from most of the destinations, excluding Dubai due to technical limitations. Passengers are welcome to use the internet check-in on their way back to Dubai.
