Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Information Technology International (TAG-ITI), the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) consultancy arm of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAG-Org), will be presenting various new products at the GITEX Technology Week 2008, which takes place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC), October 19-23, 2008.

GITEX, which stands for the Gulf Information Technology Exhibition, provides an excellent opportunity to learn from, and exchange views with, some of the leading experts within the ICT industry. It continues to reflect the importance and phenomenal growth of the IT industry in the region, and will showcase many products and technological advancements that stand apart from others.

TAG-ITI has developed a synergy between innovative technical solutions and professional IT consultancy, resulting in the provision of world class IT consultancy services in IT Audit, IT Security, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), ICT Consulting, Website Development and Audit, and Business Solutions. Some of the new products to be presented in these areas include TAG-Accountant, the TAG ICT Dictionary and AGIP.net.

TAG-Accountant is a powerful financial accounting suite developed by TAG-ITI to provide an integrated and comprehensive financial and business management solution. It is designed to suit the needs of local and regional small and medium-sized enterprises’ (SMEs) business requirements and accounting standards.

TAG-Accountant can be tailored to mirror the organizational structure of the clients where they can prepare and maintain comprehensive transactions and create flexible cycles based on user-defined relationships among the various accounts and departments.

The TAG ICT Dictionary is an English-Arabic dictionary of about 6500 ICT terms and was established to serve various goals; one of which is meeting the needs of ICT specialists and students at universities, colleges and vocational institutions by providing necessary explanations for various terms rather than merely the equivalent meaning or synonym.

The Talal Abu-Ghazaleh ICT Dictionary will be another valuable addition to TAG-Org’s professional and scientific publications which include Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property Dictionary, Abu-Ghazaleh Accountancy and Business Dictionary, Abu-Ghazaleh Dictionary of Accountancy and Abu-Ghazaleh Legal Dictionary.

A third product, AGIP.net, is an online state-of-the-art Intellectual Property Portfolio Management System, released by TAG-ITI’s sister firm Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP).

According to AGIP, the continuously updated system will allow its clients to keep track of their portfolios, in addition to giving these clients real-time 24-hour access to the relevant information they need.

Clients will also be able to send online instructions concerning all AGIP services covering trademarks, patents, industrial designs, copyrights and domain names and, most importantly, track the progress of their applications in all countries where AGIP is the agent. Moreover, AGIP.net will enable clients to check their outstanding and/or settled invoices.

Also to be unveiled is TAG-PEDIA; the first Arabic electronic encyclopedia.

TAG-Org booth will be located at B6-40 and the GITEX Technology Week is open from 10am - 7pm.

TAG-Org, your global partner in 71 offices and 180 correspondents, for all your business needs: auditing, valuation, management consulting, ICT development, business advisory, training, educational consultancy, capital services, human resources development, real estate consulting, translation, legal services, Intellectual Property Rights protection and domain name registration.
