Gary Player (centre), one of the most successful golfers in the history of the sport, ranking third in all-time total professional wins, made a special visit to Dubai World Central - the 140 square kilometre urban land development in the UAE – to get an understanding of the unique nature of the urban aviation city. Player was impressed with the magnitude of the project and the integration of a 15-square kilometre Golf City in its overall concept, which incorporates leisure, business, aviation, logistics and real estate. He was briefed by Khalifa Al Zaffin, DWC’s Executive Chairman (extreme left) and Khalid bin Harib, CEO Real Estate of DWC (right).
