Info2cell.com, the leading wireless application service provider in the MENA region, has announced that its coverage of the ongoing Euro 2008 through Etisalat’s mobile portal Weyak has generated a huge response among sports enthusiasts in the UAE.
The Euro 2008 Weyak service includes both MMS and SMS messages, with two types each. The first type of MMS message includes up to 10 slides with images and text and provides information about the teams that will be playing, such as names of players and coach, and an overview of the teams. The second type of MMS message provides the results of each game and includes images and text. On the other hand, the first type of SMS message provides the schedule of the day’s matches, while the second type of message which includes text and images, provides a goal by goal update.
